The Guidance counselor visits with the kindergartners every Thursday afternoon. He read this book to the children and I borrowed it, so we could work on these strategies. It is a good book that teaches kids that sometimes things don't go their way, but that's okay. Just say, "I can handle it!" If you hear your child say that at home, you'll know where that comes from. You may want to praise them for saying that phrase and handling the situation.
